To update your software to the latest version of the program simply click the applicable link, and download the update.

If you are not sure which version of the TaxGst Software you are using then its simple, run the program in the normal manner and look at the main screen. To exit the program you need to click on the name in the center of the screen, the name gives you the answers you are looking for:

Installing Your Update

Installing your new update is simple and easy

Once you have downloaded the file to your pc you need to run the file and follow the prompts. This is usually achieved by double clicking on the file with your left mouse button, follow the prompts as they appear (clicking the appropriate icons) and the update will take care of everything for you.

This process will take between 10 - 40 seconds depending on the speed of your machine.

The next time you run the program after installing the update it will open up a little slower than usual, as it will be performing some updates and enhancements behind the screens. This will mean you will see a little more activity going on in the background for about 10 seconds, once it is completed you will be presented with the TaxGst Main Screen..

Once the main screen appears the update is done and you can continue to use the program in the normal manner

We strongly suggest that you perform a backup of your data files before applying any updates. Even though these updates do not interrogate your data files we cannot guarantee that your pc will not have a fit in the process.
